How to Help

Donate

As a 501(c)3 organization, New Moon Farm receives no state or federal funding. Our work is supported solely by individual donors like you. And every little bit helps. It costs approximately $25 a month to provide the basic care of hay, grain, bedding, vaccinations, deworming, and hoof care for one goat. For goats who come to us with injuries or health problems that require veterinary care, the cost increases significantly. Add to that cost of maintaining the facilities, property taxes, and insurance. As a nonprofit, New Moon Farm relies on the tax-deductible monetary and in-kind donations of our supporters for everything. From deworming medications to hoof trimmers, from treats to blankets, from manure rakes to wheelbarrows, we simply cannot do the work that we do without your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible monetary or in-kind donation today.

Sponsor a Goat

By sponsoring a New Moon Farm goat, you’ll know that you are giving the gift of a second chance to an animal in need. A sponsorship of $25 provides feed and proper veterinary care for one rescued goat for approximately one month. There are typically 40-70 goats living at the rescue at any given time.

Your gift will help to ensure that they all have everything that they need to thrive. With your sponsorship, we’ll email you a downloadable and printable gift card featuring a photo of your sponsored goat, and their story. If you do not use PayPal, a check can be sent to the rescue directly.

Sponsor an animal from the sanctuary herd.

Employer Matching Programs

Double your donation! Many large and small businesses across the United States have corporate matching programs that will match, dollar-for-dollar, any contributions you make to New Moon Farm. For example, we are currently listed with the giving programs at Boeing, Microsoft, and the Washington State Combined Fund Drive. Ask your employer’s HR representative for information on their matching program, or have them contact us at: donate@newmoonfarm.org
